In 2 weeks I will be boarding a plane to fly to Frankfurt, Germany and then to Bengaluru, India. From Bengaluru, I will take an approximately 3 hour cab ride to Mysore, India.
I wish I was going to learn under this man; unfortunately he passed away a few years ago, so I will be studying with his grandson.
Although Mysore is a relatively small city for India, it still has plenty of sights to see and things to do outside of yoga. I'm getting excited!

Three hour cab ride after all those flights? Yikes! I love traveling (not as much as I love coming home, though!), but I tend to get excruciatingly nervous right up until the time I get to my hotel. Once I'm there, I'm good, but I would be nearing physically sick if I were you, by this point! You're so brave!
ReplyDeleteYay! So exciting!!
ReplyDeleteYay, I'm excited for you!
ReplyDeleteI remember when we went to Thailand, it was 30 hours of traveling from point to point. Once we finally flew into Bangkok we had to take a cab ride to Pattaya. It stinks but it's so nice once you arrive!
I'm excited for you. It sounds like you will have an amazing trip.
ReplyDeleteI remember Mysore being quite beautiful, although I wasn't there very long. I bet you are going to have a great time.
ReplyDeleteThe Lonely Planet guide was my best friend the entire time I was in India, so pick one up!
Hooray! It's coming up so fast. Have an amazing trip.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I hope you have lots of fun! I know about Mysore thanks to a historical fiction novel I'm reading, but it's awesome to know someone who is actually traveling to that place!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Cynthia,Lonely planet is the best travel quide to India! It's a magical place but it took me a while to get used.It was a bit of a cultural shock!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for your trip! What a fulfilling and hopefully life-enhancing experience you'll have!
