I absolutely adore the color blocking trend that has been going on this year. As much as I love bright colors, however, I don't have that many bottoms in solid bright colors. Navy is more of a neutral, but I'll take what I can get.
The shopping ban has been going well as far as the clothing department, but I have added considerably to my accessory section. I can go to the Galleria in search of a birthday present for the hubs and come home empty handed for either one of us, but every time I step into Target, I leave with at least 5 items I didn't know I needed! These bracelets/chains were on sale for $3.74 each, so I bought 3 for myself and 3 for my sister. I can't resist clearance items from Tar-jay!
This top has been a workhorse ever since I acquired it from Anthro last year. Now I need a bright orange or yellow pencil skirt to get the real color blocking effect.
I like the bracelets. When I go to Target I always seem to buy five things I wasn't planning to get, but manage to forget to buy whatever I went there for in the first place.
ReplyDeleteI saw those bracelets at target and now I'm kicking myself for not buying them. Maybe online will have them....(insert wishful thinking sigh).
ReplyDeleteI seldom have luck finding stuff at target - at least good sale stuff. all the jewelry i looked at was icky full price!
