layer up week | short over long sleeves

The always adorable and fashionable Megan and Keely are hosting another fashion challenge this week, in which I will attempt to participate as best as I can. Layers can be tricky in the South, as sometimes the weather just doesn't allow for them, even in the dead of winter, so this will definitely be a challenge for me.

I really love these red wedges even though they are a bit tight. I am hoping they will stretch out after a bit of wear. The weekend seemed to have flown by and I still can't believe January is almost over! The hubs was out of town this weekend and I am ready to see him tonight :)

  1. What an adorable outfit- I love the length of the skirt and those red heels are great! I always miss my man after work trips-absence makes the heart grow fonder!

  4. Awesome shoes and nice layering! Good luck this week. I know it's tough to layer in the heat. Think light and airy.:)

  5. The red shoes do make this outfit. Have you tried the ice technique to stretch them?

Also I feel you on the weather. It's supposed to be in the 60s all week. It got cold for one day and I got excited. Now? Bam, short sleeves or light jackets.

  6. Hey, I'm in MN and even I'm having trouble with the layer challenge this week - it's in the 40's here, which is super rare!

I LOVE your shoes. They are too fun.
