Dear grandpa
My mind was just wandering during the drive home from my early morning run and I was thinking about you. Thanks for being such a supporter of mine from the very beginning. You were the one who wanted me to attend UC Berkeley, and against all odds I got in and graduated! You were at my high school and college graduations and my wedding as well. I wish I had been able to say goodbye in person but I hope you are in a better place still. ox

You def got to see more of gpa than I ever did - which is great. I am sure he is still with you / us - spread a little thin since there are so many grandkids!
