36 cents

I was able to leave the office a bit earlier and since I wasn't feeling the downdogs today, I decided to come home and blog! One of the challenges of the 30 for 30 remix is a shopping ban for the 30 days. My exceptions were if I found the fabulous sandals from Anthro for less (which I did) and going to the outlet mall in Maine.

I bought exactly 4 items and spent exactly 36 cents! How, you ask?

The top and skirt from Crewlet were an extra 40% off clearance and totalled $50.36 and were purchased with a $50 AmEx giftcard. I bought a dress and tee shirt for the hubs from Gaplet with a gift card I found hiding in my dresser so no $$ was spent there. So only 36 cents out of pocket! I wish every shopping expedition could go that way.

I know myself well enough that not shopping altogether is, well, just not very fun. But I want to be more conscious of the things I do buy and only buy things I absolutely love. What I am looking forward most after this challenge is over is shopping my closet and wearing all the new things I have!
