Updating my progress
Last week I got a couple vaccinations in order to prepare for my trip. Nothing is technically required when visiting India, but I updated my typhoid and started the HepA&B series. I received a tetanus shot a couple years ago when I split my shin open in Ibiza, but that's old news.
As I prepare for my practice in Mysore, I am doing as much yoga as possible. Starting back up at work has made it a bit difficult to practice 6 days a week but I am usually at least getting in 5. I will occasionally do some cardio as well, but I've stopped running altogether. My last big race was the Houston Half-Marathon last year and since then the longest I have run is about 5 miles. Since running tightens the muscles, I prefer to lay off so I can get the most out of my yoga practice.

I didn't know you were going to India! Where and when are you visiting!
Ooh, it's so exciting to be in the preparation phase! I love this picture, too.
Planning for a trip is so much fun, and I am impressed at anyone who can do a headstand. I am terrible at anything in yoga that requires good balance.
Awesome headstand! I can't wait to hear about your experiences. I've been considering finding a yoga class for years and every time you post about it, my interest is renewed. One of these days!
Wow, are you visiting India soon? Enjoy and hope it will be a wonderful trip!
