Trying to savor the moment
Yesterday Erik and I went to 3 Sisters for a delicious home-cooked meal. They basically keep filling your plate until you demand that they stop! And while I was full, I never felt stuffed or gross like I usually do when eating out at home. Maybe because it's all veggies?
Tomorrow is my 4 week anniversary of landing in India. It's been both tougher and easier than I thought it would be. I am trying to take it day by day. Each day has it moments of ups and downs.
My favorite part of the day is, as I have said before, the reason I am here: the yoga. I am definitely finding my groove in my practice and my body is definitely opening up in ways that it does not back at home. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I can take some of it back with me!

mmm that thali looks good!
Wow, it is amazing to think you've been in India for that long already! How do you feel about coming home again - or is that still too far off to even think about? ;o)
I wish I could savor all those savory-looking deliciousness! and has it been 4 weeks already? wow, time flies.
I can't believe it's already been 4 weeks! Continue to try to enjoy yourself - it really is a once in a lifetime trip!
Also, on the fabric front, if the price is reasonable, please get me 3 meters of each fabric. Maybe 4 - 5 different fabrics? I figure, not likely that anyone I know will be heading back to India soon, so might as well take advantage of you being there!
And anything colorful is good, jewels tones - red, deep pinks, blues, greens, etc. You have good taste. Just go with you gut.
THANKS!!!!
You are really really really making me miss India (it's been about 6 years since I've been there).
Even with the downs, I'm sure the ups completely makeup for them, and I'm sure when you come home you will not be the same.
