It's hard to believe that August is already half over. I try not to even wish for cooler weather until mid-September. We have not been getting a break from the heat and humidity at all this season. Our poor lawn is so sad and dry. After the movie on Sunday we got a sprinkling of rain, but it was just a tease. I am envious of all the bloggers up north who seem to be experiencing a taste of temperatures to come. At least us girls in the South still have lots of time to wear all the fun sundresses we bought this summer :)!

That maxi was made for you. The colors so bold.

I got the smallest taste of coolish weather, but the temps are already heating back up. Too bad it didn't have rain attached to it. Many of our outdoor plants (including food producing ones) couldn't take the heat.

We have had a little cooler temps here the last couple of days but it's supposed to jump right back up to the 90's this week! I need to pull out some things I haven't worn that I want to get in before summer. I love your sundress!

That dress suits you to a T! You look fantastic.

I wouldn't mind having more summer instead of the rainy cold weather we've been getting lately. I could try and send some your way if we can have a little Texas heat up here for a day or two :)

Red looks great on you. I am enjoying having weather in the 70s here in the Northland.

The grass is always greener. I guess my grass is much greener, because it's rained the last three days. Two of them being nonstop downpours.

But I'd rather have hot dry weather than humid mid 70s.
