A summer dress for fall(ish)

Houston has had a scorching summer this year. Labor day weekend brought some cooler temperatures - 90s instead of 100s. So basically we get hot and less hot as our seasons. I predict I won't be wearing boots or layers or anything remotely fall-like until late October. The heat kind of sucks, but I take that over long snow days any time.

Hot and less-hot - that's central Florida too! Love your bright jacket over the graphic print dress, so chic.

The bright pink looks great with that print.

It's not very fall-like in WA State either. An usually hot September in the 90s. I love the hot pink and black. The jacket is just gorgeous with that dress!

I must be getting all the "Fall".. it's 65 degrees here and everyday I need at least a jacket. Brr! Some people having 90F falls though, I think that's a great way to pair up that graphic dress. It's so seasonless you could wear it any time.

I know, it's weird that we're taking "fall" pictures and it's still so hot! That jacket is fantastic. Hot pink is one of my favorite colors to wear.

LOL, "hot, and less hot" :P It's cold for me here! Not freezing but it DEFINITELY feels like fall for me!

Oh yes, I'd much prefer heat to snow. Definitely.

That dress is utter perfection on you and I'm in love with that bright pink blazer! I really need to find a pink blazer. Like, now.

I love that the dots on that dress are huge, and vary in size! Such a great play on the classic polka dot!

MMM, maybe I should move to texas. There are parts of texas by the water, I could make it work... I love summer days, I don't want them to leave.

and i love that dress, you've gotten so much use out of it!

Even if it isn't time for the fall season in your area, this outfit came together beautifully! I love the bold print of the dress and how you added the jacket for a great pop of bright color! Very chic! Can't wait to see what you come up with for the rest of the challenge!

I'm so happy that the midwest is getting out of it's sticky summer slump. But I LOVE this outfit. Such a great dress!

Interesting and really well written! Most blogs on the web are not that simple and good like this one.
