Cutting out the middle man
sweater&tights: Gap, remix'd
skirt: J. Crew
shoes: Missoni for Target, remix'd
necklace: Jessica Elliott, remix'd
I bought this skirt last month with the gift card I won from Lisa and finally wore it to Thanksgiving brunch. I love its color, length, flowyness - just a perfect skirt!
I have found that after receiving an iPhone, I am less inclined to take photos with either my point-and-shoot or my SLR. I love that I have different editing capabilities with different apps, and I can instantly upload them to Flickr, Facebook, or wherever I want. This means less time I have to spend on our desktop. This also means I am a bit more lazy with my photo-of-the-day. I wasn't too inspired this week to take great photos.
What amuses me most about all this technology is that my favorite editing tools tend to be the ones that make the photos look old. So we use new tech to get old tech effects. Gotta love the irony of it all.

Love this skirt! You look really happy in your photos :)
I like the skirt. The photo filters are fun!
I love that skirt - midi length looks so elegant.
I love the long skirt with those fab shoes! I think your photos are still great - and anything to make blogging easier is a good thing in my book.
I love that skirt - oh I wish it came in petites!
I love the movement of that skirt. And the color is gorgeous on you!
Haha, so true! But in a way, we are always trying to recapture old things. We realize they were better back then!
Love the new skirt, it's so pretty!
Though I must say (while not impossible) it's a lot harder to take full body self portraits with the iphone.
