For the past 3 Decembers I have been participating in shimelle's Journal Your Christmas. I created 2 December mini albums and one year I just did daily posts on the old blog. This time around I decided to take things a bit further and create and actual album a la Ali Edwards. I bought a Studio Calico kit and added things from my stash.
I typically scrapbook like I go through life, organically and without much planning. I did, however, actually pre-make my pages for my December album and am excited to actually scrapbook daily next month. The album is already really fat and I haven't even added any photos yet!

This is so cool! Scrapbooking is a great way to document your memories and be creative. Can't wait to see what you do!
Sounds like a wonderful idea. I think December is really a prime time for creating. You're such a great photographer, I think your scrapbooks will be incredible.

So ever since I read this blog post I've been thinking about the idea of scrapbooking over Christmas and I just decided to go for it! What a cool thing to do, and after several years be able to go back and look over the books from previous years. I'm a little late to the game, it seems that people have a plan in place by now, but I'm just gonna wing it and see what I come up with. :)
