I cheated a bit

11.16.11
all items remix'd
dress: CK
cardi: Target
shoes: Missoni for Target
earrings: Collingnon Designs, gift'd
cuff: Tiffany's, gift'd
belt: H&M

I had every intention of wearing these heels yesterday until my feet got too tired, but when I started walking into work, my heels kept slipping out. I knew this would annoy me all day, so I immediately changed into my flats and bought some insoles for the pumps for their next wearing. Heels, however, photograph so much better than flats, in my opinion, that I had to keep these photos.

CK LBD 02
I imagine wearing this dress long after I have replaced the rest of my wardrobe. As long as I keep up with yoga I figure my arms will be in good enough shape to wear it for at least another 30 years!

A LBD is definitely a staple. You have proven how versatile one can be. We got our little surprise in the mail too. Thank you so much! I wore it to work today since it was 34 degrees this morning :) Heather

I have a Target black sheath dress that I wear constantly for the same reason! you can always add a different belt, cardigan, or statement necklace to change it up. Love how you mixed it!

I agree, I wish I looked half as good in flats as I do in heels! Such a cruel world.

Love the pleated details on the dress!

That is a gorgeous LBD, you best keep up the yoga and arm tone, becuase I'd hate to see this dress go to waste!

Those shoes really do go perfectly, but you're right some days do call for flats. I've had to change shoes or sometimes pants after blog photos. I figure, no big deal, life is fluid.

Wishing you many years of sleeveless LBD wearing, because you really rock it!

I do that too! I take my outfit photo and then rethink my shoe choice right before I leave the house. It is like cheating! I love your dress with the pink cardi!

I love that dress on you - everyone needs a flattering do-it-all LBD!
