No Black Friday for you

Can you believe Thanksgiving, and then Christmas, are just around the corner? Like every year, they just suddenly appear and I feel way behind on present-buying. In my line of work, the holidays are a busy time and I will be actually working on the weekend after Turkey day, which is good to avoid the Black Friday temptations. I need more clothes like I need a hole in my head.

I love this skirt, but its shorter length keeps me from pairing it with heels during the warmer months, which, apparently includes November in Houston.

It's crazy to think that Thanksgiving is next week already! My sister talked me into doing Black Friday since she's a rookie, so we will be out with the crazy people at 3:00 in the morning, lol! Love this skirt too. Maybe you could wear it with knee high boots so it doesn't seem so short? Well, when the weather cools down. Heather

aaack! I stay far away from physical stores on Black Friday - the crowds scare me : > I adore your black and white skirt and all the ways you've styled it - esp with the pops of color.

I don't usually shop on Black Friday. Since I work for a retail company, it isn't a vacation day for me.

I love your skirt! I saw a similar one at the Ann Taylor outlet last week that I really wanted! And isn't the time flying? So crazy that Thanksgiving is next week!

I really like that soft top paired with that skirt. Good to see you have gotten a lot of use out of it! It is very cute. I am with you. I need more clothes like I need someone to punch me in the face - but that being said my mom and I will probably brave the masses :)

I love that blouse! It looks so soft and pretty.

I cannot believe Thanksgiving is next week. I literally asked my mom on the phone "OMG ARE YOU FOR REAL?" and was apparently so loud the cashier checking her out was like "Yes really!"

Now that the Hubs is currently not employed in retail, I'm happily enjoying my sleep-in black friday!

The holidays always sneak up on you, even though retailers force you to start thinking about them in October!

And yeah, bare legs in November, i love it!
