Last night we took Mom and our niece L to paint.

We started with a blank canvas...

painted over the course of 2+ hours,

and ended up with a new masterpiece! A perfect Friday night family date.
Joe is taking mom to the airport as I type and L's spring break ends on Sunday so back to just the two of us after today. I love spending time with our family but am also ready to get back into our normal routine. Today is the last day of March and a quarter of the way through the year. 2012, you are flying by!

This looks like such a fun way to spend an evening. My daughters went to do something similar when they were over in Houston visiting their dad.
I've been wanting to get a group of people together to do this. Looks like you guys had a great time.
Sounds like such an adventure! And a great way to spend time with family.
