The hubs and I went out to the outlet mall just about half an hour north of us. I was actually quite restrained...I am looking for a pink cocktail dress to wear to a fancy party at the beginning of May so that was the main goal of the trip.
The thing I don't like about the new "outlet" malls is that the clothes aren't clothes from previous seasion, but clothes made primarily for the outlet store. That said, I was impressed with some of the selection at Loft, Ann Taylor and even Gap. I restrained myself and only bought a cute, strapless plaid dress from Banana. I hope it will be good enough for the party...will have to do a test run for my friends :)
I love that Joe brought a book to read when he was done shopping but I was not!
And as it was overcast and a bit chilly, a few layers were in order.
P.S. All photos were shot with my new camera, a Canon SD1300, to replace the one that was stolen a few weeks back. Yes, I cannot live without 2 cameras; it's an illness I know.

Congrats on the new camera! Love the casual jeans and sneaks!
Did you ever get your Cynthia Vincent wedges?!
sorry, you lost your camera, you looked great...
Sounds like a fun trip! I actually do remember when the outlets got the retail store overflow...so much fun to shop there back then. We have several large outlet malls where I live (one of the main tourist destinations here), and they are always packed with shoppers.
I hope you post a pic of your new dress. Love the outfit you wore shopping, btw. :)
Oh, I like your cardigan. I went to an outlet mall a few months ago and was disappointed not to see any of the same clothes I saw online. There was a good selection at Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, and Loft, but I was disappointed by Gap, and the J. Crew had very little selection! Too bad because it was the first time I'd ever been into a J. Crew store.
Glad to hear you have got a new camera - great pics. It looks like you had a lovely day.
I like your cardi as well - where'd you get it?
Oh man, when I went to that mall, it was a MADHOUSE. But I did manage to score some off-season heels from Cole Haan. I think some stores do the past season stuff (Cole Haan, Kate Spade, etc) while others do outlet-specific merchandise (GAP, J.Crew, etc). Sad.
