A lot can happen on Friday
all items remix'd
top: J. Crew
cardi: Ann Taylor
pants: Loft
shoes: Geox
earrings: gift'd
necklace: Collingnon Designs
I did some fill in work for an old acquaintance today. Working a whole after being off for over a month is an adjustment (espcially with the hour commute). Me no likey!
I also received an interesting phone call during my lunch break. Long story short, my previous position was re-offered to me. This is great news, as working and earning $$ is always better than not. However, it does put a wrench in my plan of doing nothing and potentially travelling to India for 6 weeks to practice yoga! I may still try to negotiate the trip into a new contract. Wish me luck!
Some other ways I have remix'd my top:
and bottom:
(Apparently I only wear these flat with these pants. Maybe I need to invest in some new flats?)
Playing around with a slow shutter speed and drag tonight.

I love the double ruffles~ Fingers crossed that you can work things out the way you want. Goodluck!
Oooh, I love seeing how you wear the top and pants in different ways.
You are far more brave than I ever could be: pink pants and a pink ruffled shirt? I also wouldn't have thought to pair ruffles and ruffles (I'm not so sure why not on that one...)
Holy cow, I love seeing how you remix both pieces! You are so super creative!
Hoping and praying that the job accepts your request for the time in India - that would be perfect! Good luck!
Love the ruffles!
and that last pic is great.

I definitely think you should take your trip; if you could afford it without the job then it seems silly not to. If they really want you back, they'll make it work.
Chic on the Cheap
i always enjoy seeing all the different ways that you wear things!
and congrats on the job re-offer...six weeks of yoga in india sounds pretty awesome too though. :)
I love the outfit! And the color combo is great! Good luck on the job negotiation! Hopefully knowing ahead of time they can work something out for your 6 week trip. And what a trip!! That sounds AWESOME! I hope you can make it work out! And your last picture is really neat! :)
