I am thankful I had yesterday off. I don't think my brain would have functioned well at work. Unfortunately they asked if I could work today...after that vacation I could definitely use the extra moo-lah, so I am going into the office today.
I am also thankful the only casualty of the weekend was my silver cuff. I was wearing it on the way to the airport but somehow lost it between the van and waiting for our flight. It was an old gift from my sister, so had more sentimental value than anything. That's the one thing about traveling...I like to wear stuff that I like but there is always a chance it could be lost, stolen or broken. Do you travel with accessories or clothing of real or sentimental value?

Oooh, I hate traveling with accessories, especially if I'm flying. I'm always afraid I'll lose something in the security line. I have enough to keep up with my computer, shoes, and ziplock bag of toiletries!!!
P.S. - Glad to know I'm not alone in my shopping bag collection habit :)
I'm sorry to hear about your cuff :( I'm pretty hesitant about bringing any sentimental or expensive things with me on vacation... even though that's about the only time they'll make it into photos, haha.
