It was short, mostly for ease of care while I was away. When I returned I decided to grow out some of the layers but still keep a short length (I cannot deal with the maintenance of really long hair). Inspired by the lovely megan mae, I finally got a short bob.

Love it! I want to steal it! I found out my hairdress quit just as I went to book an appointment to cut my hair short. Since I move in a month, I don't want to find a new person here, and even once we get to our new city, there's that inevitable "getting used to each other" phase, so I'll just admire your hair jealously!
