Sometimes the only thing that tells Houstonites of the changing seasons is the shorter days. When the sun goes down at 7 PM, all I feel like doing is crawling in bed and sleeping. I really need to make more of an effort to get out during lunch at work, if only to see the sun for a bit!

You are so right about the sun. I leave for work when it's dark and I get home when it's almost dark. It's quite sad!

You look bright and sunny though in your outfit :) Heather

LOl the sun, the sun!!! Thank goodness my bed is just beneath the window. My laziness will NOT be interrupted. I love this post! Especially the shade of pink you're wearing. So uplifting!!

That skirt is great! It was starting to get dark when I left work yesterday, which made me sad.

I love your skirt, the colors are so perfect for autumn. I definitely agree about shorter days - its so hard to get motivated when its dark outside lately.

I know what you mean. By 6pm, I'm ready to go to sleep. Course, we're still getting nicely sunny afternoons for a short while longer. I love your shoes.

My daughter lives in Houston ... now I know that Houston is H.U.G.E. I spent time looking at the map after my visit years back! Just a bit of useless info I guess :-). But of course, it's nice to see a face that's kinda 'in her neighbourhood'. Do you think it's going to be a cold winter? My children will be travelling there for Christmas to see their dad. I believe it was real cold last year, compared to the normal winter weather. Love the colours in your skirt! Have a fabulous day now.

I completely understand. :( I think I should buy one of those light boxes that mimic sunlight indoors. It dark when I get up and then it's dark too early in the evening. At least we have the daylight savings time change coming soon.
