a little run

I have finally gotten off my a$$ and started running, albeit very slow, again. I am an early morning exerciser, whether it be yoga, running, lifting weights, boot camp, whatever. So when I get serious about one thing (yoga, these days), my interest in other forms of exercise wanes.

For some odd reason, stopping the running, practicing yoga 5-6 days/week, cutting out about 85% of gluten from my diet and not eating meat has actually helped me to lose weight without even trying. But I feel like I need a bit more cardio in my life, so my goal for March will be to run 1-3 morning/week (basically on the days I don't practice). This should be a completely doable goal and writing in on the old blog will make me more accountable.

Have a great weekend!

Good luck with the running! I started running a few months ago and it is the first cardio activity I have ever enjoyed. I haven't had any weight loss from it but it great stress relief.

Gogogo! You can do it. I actually picked up Dance Central (1&2) so that I have a reason to get some exercise in. We haven't been to the pool in forever, but I'm hoping to start dancing every day I can and going to the pool a couple times a month.

Any advice for lowering gluten without buying non-gluten imitation products? I not-so-secretly suspect the hubs has a gluten sensitivity (his sister does) but getting him to make diet changes is hard.

I wish you all the best with running. I'm sure you will tear it up. :)

Good for you girl! How's the running coming? I love my morning runs, and I've found I run more when I don't stress myself out over it. If I make it an attainable goal like 1-3x per week, like you, then it's doable and I enjoy it! Good luck!
