For as much pink I have in my wardrobe, I really don't have that much red. So now for the quest for a bright red pencil skirt that won't cost me a fortune begins. I promise the shirt is red; it just photographs really pink.
Happy Valentine's Day! I am a firm believer that you should not need a specific day to express how you feel about someone, so the hubs and I are celebrating low key tonight. When you love someone, shouldn't everyday be love day?

I agree, love should be about everyday!! We are celebrating tonight, but only because we have had some not so great things going on lately so we felt like a treat.
I love the necklace and skirt you paired with this outfit!
I love the subtle pattern mixing!
We're going to the same pub quiz we go to every Tuesday tonight. All the couples out on dinner dates on Valentine's day freak me out a little, we haven't done that in possibly ten years.
Love your pattern mixing!
I like the pink and the gingham together! I don't usually do much for Valentine's Day, especially when it falls on a "School Night".

Cute! Combining two of my favorite things - layered necklace under a collar and collared shirts with sweaters. A cute take on the V-day idea.

I believe that we must show our love each and every moment that we are still breathing and living. Each day that we wake up is another opportunity to love someone, and take note, it must be done not just on Valentine's day but every day. btw, love your outfit, as well as the necklace, eh.
