working wardrobe | a patterned pencil

One good thing about packing and moving is that it makes you look long and hard at all the stuff we have acquired after living in the same place for 6+ years. Even though our place was small, we managed to fill it to the brim. So purging and donated unwanted things have felt good.

My one little word for the year is LESS and so far I think I'm doing pretty good with it, especially as far as my closet goes. Probably 85-90% of my clothes are things that I don't mind wearing on a regular basis, and that's what developing a working closet means, I think.

The best part about pencil skirts is that they will never go out of style. For me, ones with extra colors and fun patterns are even more versatile because I can pair them with virtually anything in my closet.

I love your wardrobe. Honestly? If I had to start from scratch, I'd totally mimic your wardrobe. Everything goes so well together, your pieces are interesting and colorful. I definitely look to your blog for remix inspiration.

I love pencil skirts as well and blazers for the exact same reason, 30 years on, the pencil skirt is the same and the basic blazer too :-)

Love the last skirts colours and design.

Hope your move went well
