I absolutely adore the color blocking trend that has been going on this year. As much as I love bright colors, however, I don't have that many bottoms in solid bright colors. Navy is more of a neutral, but I'll take what I can get.
The shopping ban has been going well as far as the clothing department, but I have added considerably to my accessory section. I can go to the Galleria in search of a birthday present for the hubs and come home empty handed for either one of us, but every time I step into Target, I leave with at least 5 items I didn't know I needed! These bracelets/chains were on sale for $3.74 each, so I bought 3 for myself and 3 for my sister. I can't resist clearance items from Tar-jay!
This top has been a workhorse ever since I acquired it from Anthro last year. Now I need a bright orange or yellow pencil skirt to get the real color blocking effect.

I like the bracelets. When I go to Target I always seem to buy five things I wasn't planning to get, but manage to forget to buy whatever I went there for in the first place.
I saw those bracelets at target and now I'm kicking myself for not buying them. Maybe online will have them....(insert wishful thinking sigh).
I seldom have luck finding stuff at target - at least good sale stuff. all the jewelry i looked at was icky full price!
