newest obsession

I actually started watching this the beginning of the 3rd season but recorded the marathon that started with the very first episode. Kind of been enjoying this retrospective view.

I've said this before and I am sure I will say this again: my favorite part about dressing for cold weather is wearing boots! {It's been too cold to take my coat off for an outfit photo outside, so you get the pleasure of seeing inside our place :)}

Anyone watching Lance tonight on O? I am still wondering why he is "confessing" now - he's got to be working some angle somehow...

weekend casual | happy december

Our December has certainly started off with a bang.

One of our dear friends who moved to London about 6 years ago invited us to spend a late Thanksgiving dinner with his family. Besides seeing him of course, the big draw was that he opened up his wine cellar and generously shared his delicious wine. Nothing compares to the Silver Oak!


And yesterday we helped celebrate the birthday of a new dear friend. P&S are the coolest couple and we are glad to have gotten to know them better this year.

And while December is here in spirit, the weather tells you other wise. Both days have had highs in the upper 80s. Global warming, anyone?

And I mistakenly got caught up with watching The Walking Dead and had a difficult time falling asleep last night, so no yoga for me this morning. Oh well, stuff happens.

A little switcheroo

I love April in H-town, especially on days when the humidity is low. We try to spend as much time as we can outside because pretty soon the heat will be upon us!I switched my pants for a denim skirt and heels for some fun wedges for our casual date night. We grabbed some fajitas at big Berry Hill with some peeps, then went to TCBY for some fro-yo.Later on, we started the 1st season of Nip/Tuck. The first episode was pretty drama-filled and intense. We'll see if we (i.e. the hubs) can last for a few more shows before getting bored with it ;)

TV is fun again!

One of my new favorite shows. It just makes me smile :)

getting LOST

So one of my favorites TV shows EVER has been Lost. I initally watched it because I love Matthew Fox, from Party of Five. And I keep watching it because I feel it just gets better and better! The characters are multi-dimensional, the plot is unpredictable...I just love it! I try, however, not to watch it at night because I get too keyed up with the events of the episode. I just finished watching last week's show and OMG!! I am a little scared about how the show is going to end because the flash forwards do not paint a pretty picture.
