Diecinueve: That dress again
all items remix'd
4 cardi: Target
19 dress: Loft
22 booties: Aldo
sunnies: Dsquared
earrings: gift'd
necklaces: Collingnon Designs
One good thing about working in Austin is that I can repeat bold outfits more often. I wouldn't wear this dress more than once a month, maybe twice, but only in front of a different audience.
I love the print, but it's not quite subtle. So now I have worn it not twice but three times, but each wearing was for another crowd. Do you shy away from repeating the same outfit in front of the same people?
In other, fashion-related news, I received my What I Wore book yesterday. It's really fun and I love all of Jessica's drawings.
TGIF to you!

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Google Books
I finally read this book. It's a bit twisted but I really enjoyed it, which is why I had to finish it last night. I love to read but when I get engrossed in a book I usually can't put it down until I know how it ends. Now I want to see the movie!

What I did today
I could talk about getting up early to do some surfing before work. Or I could talk about being freezing all day at work.
I could talk about going to the grocery store with Joe. Or I could talk about still being a bit hungry right now.
But what I will talk about is this series. The Twilight books. I finished all four. And while I thought the Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse were only okay, I really enjoyed Breaking Dawn. It's plot was a bit more sophisticated than Bella loves both Edward and Jacob and feels guilty about something or the other. So my recommendation if you were to ever want to read these is to skip the 1st 3 and read the last one. It won't be hard to follow.

Movie marathon
I feel like I am living at the Angelika these days, but I do love Oscar time. So far I have really enjoyed every movie we have seen this season!
Benjamin Button was really sweet. And I had forgotten how totally hot Brad Pitt is.
And The Reader was great as well.
Next on our list is Gran Torino and Frost/Nixon (although I won't be devastated if we miss the latter).
My other latest obsession:
(yes, a bit late on the band wagon and a bit melodramatic reading, but entertaining nonetheless!)

Twilight
I promised myself that I wouldn't read those books but one of the ladies suggested it for our next book club. So I am halfway through and although it is fairly ridiculous it is also entertaining. A bit cheesy and I would probably eat it up even more if I were 20 years younger, but I will admit I am hooked.
Joe and I are going to see Benjamin Button tonight - looking forward to it. Otherwise just a blah working weekend! I can't believe it's already February tomorrow!

Post 301
I just finished Harry Potter. Loved it!
This has been a weekend of scrapping goodness, yoga and lots of reading. Too bad the real world is here tomorrow.
Joe and I are going to Mo Mong for dinner and Cold Stone for dessert - Yum-O!

Books
I got some books I ordered from Amazon last night. Love clean crisp sheets of paper in a new book! I started reading Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life. It's pretty amusing but a little different than I expected. I don't know why, but I thought it was an ordinary memoir, but she's actually got things alphabetized, like an encyclopedia. Go figure!
I also got a fertility book, recommended by my friend Claire (guess it's time to TAKE CHARGE!).
The last 2 books are photography books - Understanding Exposure and Learning to See Creatively, both by Bryan Peterson. Almost all these books were found via message boards. What did we do before the internet???
I've been more interested in reading non-fiction lately. Just got lots of ideas in my head, I guess!
