Although this skirt is not a silhouette I normally wear, I added it to my 30 to challenge myself a bit. I love its neutral color and the pockets, of course!

11.11.10
One reason I shy away from this shape is that I think it emphasizes my bubble butt (although it is looking smaller in the photo than in real life!).

And I think I've finally figured out the secret to taking remix photos with my SLR and remote :)

Coolest birthday gift ever!

I can't believe I still have more photos from the weekend to post! Because Marc had so many events for his birth month I didn't get a chance to have craft Sunday with Tingaling, but we did manage to catch up for lunch on Saturday. Before lunch she gave me my belated birthday gift: original art from Roger Disney, a cool artist we saw at the Bayou City Arts festival!I love the painting so mucha and need to figure out where the best place to display it in our house. Thanks Tingaling...love you tons!

Bayou City Arts Festival

So this past Saturday Ting, John, Mom and I attended the Bayou City Arts Festival at memorial park.
We did quite a bit of walking - probably a mile from where we parked to the festival, a mile looking at art and a mile back! We didn't make any purchases but we did see some fun stuff
We only saw a couple artists whose work we would seriously contemplate buying (Roger Disney and Ray Phillips) but it was a great day to be outside. Blue skies, not a cloud in sight and no humidity. Gotta take advantage of these beautiful spring Houston days while we can!
