I thought I would take this remix thing to heart and wear a few things I have already worn. I figure if I wear some things sooner, I will have more things to choose from later.

I atttended prototype180 today. Very interesting conceptual art.


Although this skirt is not a silhouette I normally wear, I added it to my 30 to challenge myself a bit. I love its neutral color and the pockets, of course!


One reason I shy away from this shape is that I think it emphasizes my bubble butt (although it is looking smaller in the photo than in real life!).


And I think I've finally figured out the secret to taking remix photos with my SLR and remote :)

I used two of these items in the previous 30-for-30 challenge: the skirt and sandals. I love how a denim skirt can be dressed up or down.

I am a bit dressed up for running errands, no? This is what I am wearing to a continuing ed class tonight. May be mingling with potential employers, so I thought flip flops would be too casual.

My rules for this challenge:
1) 30 items worn in 30 days
2) no shopping (although I may make an exception for Thanksgiving weekend and Christmas gifts)

The main difference from this season's challenge from the one at the end of the summer is that I have much more casual clothes. The reason? I was laid off from my job and last Tuesday was my last day. This is why October was so stressful. I have come to terms with everything and am enjoying the time off; the hubs finding a job around the same time I lost mine alleviated much stress. So my current job title is "house mouse" and I think I will enjoy it for at least a few months!

We just returned from Cabo last night and I am now trying to get caught up with real life. Going on vacation is wonderful; returning takes some adjusting. So my 30-for-30 posts may be a bit delayed.

We got some major rain the last couple nights. Woke me up in the middle of the night! But with the rain comes the cooler weather, which I am all about!

We are going on vacation tomorrow with some friends to celebrate a 40th birthday. I am so ready to get outta here! Got lots to do between now and then, so posting as well as bloggy reading with be sparse until next week. Have a great week!

Happy November to you. This past October has been the crappiest month I've had in a long time, so things can only get better, right? Right!


Notice how untucking the tee takes it from casual to almost sloppy. I think the tee and pants are both actually a bit too big, but they are super comfy!

We are having the most bipolar weather right now. One day it's cool and fall-like, the next the humidity returns with a vengeance. I keep hoping for the former!
